A big Q-106 congratulations!  to K-9 specialist,  Allied, with the Madison Police Department’s canine team is retiring.   Allied joined the Madison police force 7 years ago in people years,  49 for dog years, so a major life long commitment from Allied and his handler.   The German Shephard mix retired formally over the weekend after serving the city  for most of his life.  Allied will now be enjoying a cush life of walks, naps and treats after a life well-lived in service to Madison and her residents.   Thank you Allied for your service.  Ruff ruff……
