What a DAY in the Black Hills! 🌩️☀️
90° and sunny ➡️ 69° with hail and a downpour ➡️ sunny again ➡️ 80 MPH winds. 😂 Welcome to the Black Hills, where you just never know what Mother Nature has planned!
But we still got an epic ride in through Mount Rushmore, Keystone & Hill City, with a margarita stop at one of our favorite Custer spots @beggingburromexicanbistro 🍹🏍️
Then we recorded the show from Ultimate Landscaping’s campsite (yes, Jell-O shots were involved 😏) with a special appearance from @jessejamesdupree before heading to @official_fullthrottlesaloon for a night with @mirandalambert and surprise appearances from @laineywilson AND @gretchenwilson27! 🤠🔥

STURG HAS NO CHILL 🔥🏍️
Started the day at @official_fullthrottlesaloon with our Q broadcast, then hopped on the bikes for a ride through Vanocker Canyon, Johnson Siding and downtown Sturgis—with a quick stop at the legendary Dungeon Bar🍹
Caught a wild grass fire near Bear Butte, then made our way back to FTS for Lita Ford + 38 Special and a pretty epic drone show to end the night!

Kicked off Day 2 of Sturgis the right way — bloodies at The Boar’s Nest, then hit the road for a ride through Spearfish Canyon, one of our absolute favorites!
Then it was back to @pappyhoelcampground to record the first show of the day — HUGE shoutout to the Deerfield boys for hosting us! 🍻
And we’re just getting started…

20 years ago this week, a sweet teenage girl opened the night of live music at the Q106 Birthday Celebration on Willow Island right here in Madison. That 16-year-old girl who performed for a small group that night, would turn into a global icon known as Taylor Swift!! In a full circle moment, she is back at the top of the country charts and we couldn’t be happier to play a small role in supporting her massive career 🥹
