Mike is a small business owner, a construction contractor — he is our plaintiff in this episode of Country Courthouse.  Laura and her husband are close friends with Mike… Laura, our defendant in this case wants Mike to build them a deck on their home — not completely free of charge, she says they would pay for materials but that they should get a generous discount because she brings in a lot of business to Mike through referrals and recommendations for his business.  Mike says he’d love to but he is struggling to make a living and can not afford all the time it would take to be building a deck for friends – when he should be working for all his other clients that pay full price for his services –  Let’s keep an open mind and listen in to hear both sides ……….
