Who Will Care for the Corgis?

So with plans for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral well underway  some thoughts turn to her beloved pet Corgis and their future.  Who has been tasked with their welfare?  Seems there is indeed a plan in place as ABC News is reporting sources close to Prince Andrew, the Queen’s son, The Duke Of York,  confirm that he and his adult daughters are to care for the Queen’s pet Corgis in perpetuity or until they leave this world for the next.   The Corgis (no one is certain how many?) will return to live at Royal Lodge, the official country residence of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, Prince Andrew’s ex, Sarah Ferguson.  Andrew and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice gave the Queen two Corgis, Muick and Sandy, in recent years and promised they would care for them if need be.  Andrew gave his mother Sandy, a Corgi puppy on what would have been his father, Prince Phillip’s 100th birthday this past year.
