A Belgian- British teen pilot poised to become the youngest person ever to fly around the world solo.  Mack Rutherford actually celebrated his 17th birthday in the midst of this journey which continues today-  He touched down in Charleroi, Belgium last night and next is due to land in Bulgaria today.  His quest started in March.  He’s visited 52 countries and five continents so far.  He has also crossed the equator twice now which is in compliance with the Guinness World Record folks.  When Mack completes his global journey he is going to knock the crown off Travis Ludlow from the UK-  the 18 year old Brit set the record last year, 2021.  Get the beverage cart ready to celebrate!!
