AAA says they’re experiencing a huge up-tick in road-side assistance calls from drivers across the country running out of gas.  So – what gives?  Well according the automobile club most of their feedback seems to be motorists who can no longer afford a full tank of gas for their routine fill-ups…. so…. they’re only putting in small amounts to get where they absolutely need to be.  According to AAA so far this year more than 200,000 have been stranded on E-  So far this month alone over 450 calls and counting daily.  Skyrocketing gas prices now fueling more roadside assists and more work for AAA road crews.  The experts say it is not good to let your car run out of gas because it causes other issues and can cause your car to not function properly even after you fill her back up.
