Celestial Celebration on tap –
Put on your party hats! A rare and delightful viewing of the five so called, ‘naked-eye’ planets is coming up. Throughout the month of June, depending on regional cloud cover, seeing the planets lined up in their natural order is a rarity indeed. While seeing two or three planets close together (what is know as a conjunction) is a somewhat more common occurrence, but seeing five is more rare. But what makes this months planet line up even more extraordinary is that all five planets are arranged in their natural order from the Sun. Best recommendations for viewing– right before sunrise, watch the southeastern horizon, from low in the east to higher south, you should see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, in that order. God speed and good luck 😉
