Kinda – $400 a Ferrari – LEGO 😉  ‘Ferrari Fantasy’ the latest in Lego offerings lets you build a scale 1:8 Daytona SP3.  3778 pieces including various functioning parts like moving pistons and doors that open!  In case you don’t know — the real Daytona SP3 is one of the most unique Ferrari’s ever built…. based on the prototype races that finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours.   The actual auto boasts a 6.5 liter V-12 829 horsepower engine –

Once assembled, the Lego  Daytona SP3 is 23″ long,  9.5″  wide, and 5.5″ tall. The  model has rolling wheels covered in silver lacquer and when you remove the model’s black roof panel it reveals a pair of blue seats inside.

Ferrari and Lego offering a limited  500 copies initially with more to go on sale worldwide in the company’s stores by the end of the week followed by the retail release on August 1.
