You would think the 55th annual Grammy awards was a country music showcase by the plethora of Nashville stars that were performing, presenting and winning.
Incase you missed it performers included Zac Brown Band, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes. We are going to count Kelly Clarkson, Jack White, and The Black Eyed Peas because they are from Nashville. Stars that now have a new trophy for their mantle were Taylor Swift, the Civil Wars, Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins. Mumford & Sons' Babel, which won Album of the Year!
This is just the beginning of whats to come in future award shows like the Grammys and Peoples Choice, it appears country music is bigger than ever, and when you add foxy crossover stars like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Tim Mcgraw (he did a hip hop song with Nelly a while ago, remember that?) Nashvilles music scene can only get bigger.
