Remember the Smurfs? Remeber the Smurf movie from 2010? Probably not, but it's back in the news and everything isn't Smurferiffic, a set builder is sueing for $15 million.
Ryan Rodriguez a constuction worker filed a suit agains Columbia Pictures, Sony Entertainment for an injury he sustained after a fall from some scaffolding equipment while making the motion picture. Ryan stated he had "seriously and permanently" injured himself and the accident has pretty much ruin his life, keeping him from working like he used to.
Could it be that he can't work because he's really looking to get a payday, isn't getting hurt on the job one of the risks you take when working on a consturiction site. Hopefully his injuries heal otherwise he may have to sue again for injuries caused from a heavy wallet.
Do you like that Hollywood turns old cartoons into movies?
