All-Star linebacker for the Fighting Irish Manti Te'o (I'm not sure where his first name ends and last name begins) has finally spoken out and said he wasnt involved in the hoax
Manti spoke to ESPN but not on camera saying he poorly handled the situation in which he did several interviews saying his girlfriend Lennay Kekua died of Luekemia the same day his grandmother passed. so far i haven't heard if the grandmother existed either. Manti sat down with his parents (who are real) and did an interview with Katie Couric that will be aired on Thursday.
He is still sticking with his story that he was not in on it even though all the evidence is saying he was, reports have said the person who pulled off the hoax is Manti's cousin and his father has said he has met the mystery woman on 2 occasions. Hopefully super journalist (cough) Katie Couric will get to the bottom of this story.
