Attic Angel Association House & Garden Tour-Monday, June 21, 2010
Middleton Hills-Timeless Traditions Tour, Monday, June 21, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., features tours of seven homes. Visit a 1926 Sears Catalog model home, “The Avalon” and other unique homes in this singular neighborhood that reflects community and connection. Front porches, short setbacks, sustainable and smaller living, (two homes are 1200 square feet.), unusual art and sculpture, water features, Capitol views, antiques. Middleton Hills, the result of the vision of the late Marshall Erdman, has earned national attention for neighborhood creation.
Advance tickets ($16) can be purchased by check or cash at Attic Angel Association, 640 Junction Rd., Madison, Attic Angel Place, 8301 Old Sauk Road and the Attic Sale on June 17, at High Point Church or by credit card at www.atticangel.org after May 1. Onsite tickets ($18) on June 21. Proceeds benefit The Respite Center, SAIL (Supporting Active Independent Lives), and the Attic Angel Resident Aid Fund.
Attic Angel Association is a 121-year-old non-profit organization of more than 550 volunteers women dedicated to serving the community. The Attic Sale and House and Garden Tour are the association’s signature annual fundraiser events, raising more than $80,000 last year.
