Deadline.com is reporting that Brad Paisley is being considered to join Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey at the judges table on American Idol.  How great would that be?

I first mentioned this to a friend and he replied, "You're just saying that because you're a country music fan." Truth is I'm saying it would be great because I'm a Brad Paisley fan, but that being said he's a great songwriter/musician, plus he's really intelligent. Being funny doesn't hurt either!

I haven't watched much American Idol in years, but if Brad was on the show I'd definitely check it out again - Probably not all 17 hours per week, but at least some of it.
