Cormac is in treatment for leukemia at American Family Children’s Hospital. His treatment has involved many hospital stays, and the items received from the Child Life Services toy box during these stays were invaluable in providing a distraction and comfort while stuck in the hospital.
Since Cormac‘s birthday is in July, he thought it would be perfect to celebrate this year by hosting a toy drive to refill the Child Life toy box at AFCH. Most toy drives happen around the holidays, and by summertime that toy box can seem pretty empty. We want to make sure that Child Life has access to special items for children staying in the hospital all year long.
