This could be tricky. If you have kids, you’d probably want to know when you’re being lied to, but my parents always made it clear they knew whenever us kids were lying anyway.
If you can lie without ever being caught, how do you say no to that? You’ll always be perfect with surprise parties. Also, if the lie is impossible to disprove, how could there ever be a downside to lying?
FYI, apparently letting young kids lie inspires creativity, and brain development.
