Starting September 1, we’re predicted to have about a week of mid 80s to near 90s temps for about a week straight. That’s great news for end of Summer pool parties, cook outs, and Taste of Madison. With the exception of the end of July, do you recall it ever getting hot this Summer? We’ve all grown up with the phrase, “Better late than never,” but when the late crashes “Crock Pot Chili Week,” we have problems. That’s my September tradition. Crock pot chili is great all through Fall and Winter, but somehow seems out of place when the temps are at 90. Heat or not, I’m still going to make chili this week to start September. What are your Fall traditions?
